Anti-Cancer Challenge 5K

Join us for a 5K or 10K Run/Walk to put cancer behind us on Saturday, June 8 at Aldrich Park at the UCI campus in Irvine. Participants can select to be timed during registration. Participants not interested in beating the clock are welcome to go at their own pace. Participants 3 years of age or older must be registered. Children under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult participant.

Time results will be posted on the website after the run. Remember your bib number to look up your results. We recommend taking a picture of your bib with your cell phone after the race.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Fastest 5K woman winner receives a $100 gift card to A Snail’s Pace Running Shop
Fastest 10K woman receives a $100 gift card to A Snail’s Pace Running Shop
Fastest 5K man receives a $100 gift card to A Snail’s Pace Running Shop
Fastest 10K man receives a $100 gift card to A Snail’s Pace Running Shop
Top three men and women under age 30 receive a $25 gift card to A Snail’s Pace Running Shop
Top three men and women ages 30 to 50 receive a $25 gift card to A Snail’s Pace Running Shop
Top three men and women over age 50 receive a $25 gift card to A Snail’s Pace Running Shop

FUNDRAISING

Run/Walk participants agree to pay or raise $50 for cancer research. If you do not meet your fundraising commitment by Sunday, June 30, 2019, the Anti-Cancer Challenge office will call you to make arrangements to pay the difference. We hope to raise as much money as possible for cancer research, so don’t be afraid to increase your goal.
