Cave Creek Trail Run presented by REI

Just North of Cave Creek is some of the most pristine Sonoran Desert you will find in all of Arizona, which is why we are trying to save it. With its isolation there is a tremendous amount of flora and fauna, a perfect setting for our trail run. You will be running on primitive trails that are primarily used by wildlife and equestrians. The route will take you down through sandy washes, up and over hills and down them too, over loose rock and stiff ones and yes, cactus as well, so don’t forget your comb and tweezers. You will go through an amazing saguaro stand and have breathtaking views of the surrounding area.  All of your sweating, heavy breathing and rewarding smiles, is in the name of saving this Open Space. With your participation you will help ensure it remains as Open Space forever, and we sincerely thank you for caring.

This is a fundraising race in which the proceeds goes towards the purchase of 4,000 acres of Open Space surrounding Cave Creek. We want to keep this land open space in perpetuity for all to enjoy.
