Door County Half Marathon

The Door County Half Marathon has been called one of the best in the Midwest by Runner’s World writer Jenny Hadfield, Competitor magazine, and Active.com. Writer Tom Held of The Active Pursuit likened the course to “running in a wooded cathedral.” Such praise, plus Door County’s reputation as one of the premier vacation destinations in the country, has made the race a must-run on the nation’s half marathon circuit.

The USATF-certified course is run entirely on closed roads that guide runners past historic landmarks, through peaceful forests, and atop the Niagara Escarpment to reveal spectacular bluff-top views of Lake Michigan.

Impeccable organization and course support make it a favorite of first-time runners, while the un-rivaled scenery and the notorious hills of Peninsula State Park challenge experienced distance runners.

Runners looking for extra motivation may Run for a Cause, a $250 fundraising goal is required. Please visit our website for details.

Registration for the half marathon includes a long-sleeve tech t-shirt, an awesome finisher’s medal, beer/ beverages at our post-race party, full course support, and shuttles to and from the race start.
