The Westport Young Woman’s League will be hosting its 40th annual running of the Minute Man Race on Sunday, April 22nd, with events starting at 8:00 a.m. The event will consist of a ‘USA Track and Field Race Certified’ 10K run, 5K run or walk and Kids’ Fun Run, taking place at Westport’s famed Compo Beach. A “Kids’ Zone,” located in the area of the Kids’ Fun Run, will again feature numerous kid friendly activities for families to enjoy during and after the race! Online registration is open and may be accessed by visiting www.minutemanrace.com. The race is capped at 1,500 participants, so register early! Race proceeds will directly benefit charities with an emphasis on education, located in lower Fairfield County and Westport.
