New York International Children’s Film Festival

SUBMIT
Submissions are now open for NYICFF 2014! We are looking for creative, original, non-formulaic works that will help to define a new, more compelling film for kids. We are not shy about showing films with mature themes, subject matter, language or sensibilities, especially for our teen and pre-teen audiences.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR NYICFF FILMMAKING CAMPS
KIDS MAKE MOVIES! Sign up for NYICFF’s two-week filmmaking camp during the Summer school break. Classes are offered in a variety of animation and live action filmmaking techniques for ages 6 to 16. Students will conceive, storyboard, write, shoot, draw, model, create sets, and perform on camera to create a completed short film. Previous workshops have included Create-a-Cartoon, Multimedia Storytelling, Moviemaking Master Class, Rotoscope Animation, Claymation and more!

April 26-May 5 – Aero Theatre, Los Angeles

Thank you to all who made Boston Int’l Children’s Film Festival (in partnership with Museum of Fine Arts, Boston) and Los Angeles Children’s Film Festival (in partnership with American Cinematheque) so successful! Both festivals will took place over two weeks and featured award-winning and audience favorite programming from NY Int’l Children’s Film Festival. We hope to see you in more cities in the fall!
