The Odyssey One Day Xtreme will have unsupported teams of 2, 3, 4 and soloist navigate, paddle, mountain bike, and trek their way through the beautiful mountains and waterways surrounding Fairy Stone State Park, while battling the elements of Mother Nature, by using only a map and compass.

This adventure race will be a great tune up into the more challenging terrain that you would see in the Wild Wonderful 24HR AR and a great stepping stone for athletes wanting to take it to the next level from sprint length(3-6hrs) races. The course will be challenging and demanding, pushing your body and mind to the limits for 20-24hrs. Are you up for the challenge!!!!!

Teams/soloist will acquire mandatory checkpoint(CP), by foot, mt.bike, and/or boat how ever specified, in sequential order unless other wises noted, as in small orienteering section with in the race course. The navigation to gain the mandatory checkpoints will be challenging but not advanced like some of the off trail orienteering sections maybe. Most of the orienteering points will be optional and only help in your overall ranking and your sense of adventure!!!!

The Odyssey One Day Xtreme Adventure Race is a USARA Regional Qualifier, with points being awarded to the 3/4 person coed and single gender divisions.
