The Dogwood Festival 2014 5K Walk/Run presented by Vinton Baptist Church will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014. This event has been going on for over 15 years and supports our Youth Choir Summer Mission trip. The cost is $20, after April 21st it is $25. Early registration includes a short sleeve t-shirt. Prizes for the top three overall male and overall female runners will be awarded, plus the top three runners in each age division will receive medals. Following the walk/run, participants are invited to join us for breakfast in the church gym. Awards will be presented at this time.
All registration packets must be picked up at the church. Packet pick-up and late registration is open Friday, April 25 from 6-7 p.m. in the Disciple Center located at the corner of Lee and Maple. Event day registration is open from 7 to 8:10 a.m. Registration closes at 8:10 a.m. and the walk/run begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms are located on the church website at www.vintonbaptistchurch.org or in the church office. Waiver: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Dogwood 5K, I do hereby for me, my heirs, executors, administrators and assignees, release and forever discharge the sponsors and all those persons involved in organizing and manning this event from all cliams, demands, loss, damage, actions, causes of actions or suits or inequity of whatsoever kind of nature arising out of my participation in the race on april 26, 2014. No refunds will be given. Registration information may be shared with other event coordinators.
