As the world competes in the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games, the reigning champion of social media is facing its own competition. Vkontakte is the social media ambassador chosen by the International Olympic Committee for the Russian Games with over six times as many unique visitors as Facebook and nearly ten times as many as Twitter.
