You can be assured of a warm welcome – and a fresh home cooked breakfast; beautiful moorland walks on the doorstep and an extremely popular pub (Peter Tavy Inn) within five minutes walk from our house. Plymouth boasts the National Marine Aquarium, the UK’s largest with over 70 species of shark and for the adults, tours of the Plymouth Gin Distillery, the oldest working gin distillery in the world. Exeter is a historic city famous for Exeter Cathedral, with beautiful architecture and underground passages there is much to see and do. Following the coast south and you come to the English Riveira Torbay, a host of tourist attractions perfect for families including the natural cave Kent’s Cavern, the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway and Paignton Zoo. Torquay also promises exciting watersports including waterskiing and windsurfing with the opportunity to take home a certificate from the BSAC and PADI diving schools. This light and airy space packs a lot of character with exposed oak beams and vaulted ceiling, a glass apex window lights the room and allows you to star gaze from your bed at night.
